PAL KANJI (NEY KANJI)


PAAL KANHI
Ingredients:
basmathi rice or jeeraka shala rice(cheriya ari)  -1 cup jeera -1/2 tsp 

Water -3 cups Coconut milk -11/2 cups 

Salt -to taste 
Method: 
Wash the rice and add the jeera and water to rice.
Put the rice into the pressure cooker let 3 to 4 whistle comes then keep it in sim for 10 minutes. Then switch of the stove.
Let it cool down and open it.
Then add coconut milk and salt.
Turn on the stove again, let it boil for 5 minutes and turn it off again.
Serve hot . It should look semi-solid ( like porridge).
